My master's thesis explored how queer people experience embodiment during Pride — how the festival creates space to connect with queer community, queer identity, and their own bodies. The study used qualitative methods to centre the lived experiences of queer participants.

East Asian parents' perspectives on racial bullying in schools: a design thinking approach to developing a parent-focused knowledge translation tool

Collaborated with a Postdoctoral Fellow to conduct empathy mapping on interview transcripts with East Asian parents about their perspectives on racial bullying and how they talk to their children about it. This UX research phase will inform the development of a knowledge translation tool to help educate children on racial bullying.
